楚雄师范学院是一所省属普通高校，2001年5月，经教育部批准成立，2010年,通过教育部合格评估，2014年被教育部列为“全国卓越教师培养计划改革项目”实施单位, 2015年获批为云南省第二批转型发展试点高校, 2016年遴选为云南省一流学科（高原学科）建设高校, 2017年成为云南省首批公费师范生培养单位。2009年获“全国文明单位”荣誉称号，2017年被中央文明委授予第一届“全国文明校园”荣誉称号。

学校设有10个二级学院，开设了58个全日制本科专业，目前有4个学科被立为硕士学位授权省级培育建设学科，建有省级优势特色重点学科1个，省级高校一流学科（B类高原学科）1个，国家级特色专业1个，省级优势特色专业5个，教育部重点社科基地工作站和教育部重点实验室研究基地3个，省哲学社会科学研究基地1个，省高校重点实验室和工程研究中心6个，8个专业入选省级一流专业建设点，1个专业入选国家级一流专业建设点。

学校现有全日制在校生15407人，在编教职工788人，其中二级教授8人，高职人员284人，博硕士研究生导师30名，国务院特殊津贴专家1名，国家级优秀教师2名，省级优秀教师1名，省政府特殊津贴专家5名，省级突出贡献专家3人，云岭教学名师2名，省级教学名师5名，省级学术技术带头人及后备人才12名；有5个省级教学团队，2个省哲学社会科学创新团队，2个省高校科技创新团队。2001年以来，学校获得国家级科研基金项目61项，省部级科研课题200余项、省级以上教学质量工程项目179项。

学校大力加强开放办学，先后与美国、加拿大、德国、泰国、越南、老挝、柬埔寨、新加坡等国高校签署了合作协议，开展联合培养、科技合作、境外实习等国际合作项目，建立海外实习实践基地15个，学校不断向开放型、国际化迈进。

三、本科生招生专业

学生入学后如有在以上专业内的转专业情况，按《楚雄师范学院学生转专业管理办法》执行。

四、奖学金

在学校获得的云南省政府奖学金额度范围内，为通过审核的优秀学生提供云南省政府奖学金，标准如下：

1、语言进修生：提供一年，30000元/年/人

2、本科生：提供四年，35000元/年/人

五、申请条件及入学标准

1、身份及无犯罪记录要求：外国公民，无犯罪记录，身心健康，品行良好，遵守中国法律法规，尊重中国风俗习惯，遵守学校规章制度。

2、教育背景及年龄要求：申请攻读学士学位者，应当具有高中毕业同等学力，学习成绩优秀，年龄一般不超过25周岁；进修生入学时应当具有学士学位或以上学力，年龄一般不超过55周岁。

3、语言要求：申请人中文水平原则上至少达到汉语水平考试（HSK）四级。

七、申请流程

1、申请人下载并填写《楚雄师范学院留学生入学申请表》（http://gjhzjl.cxtc.edu.cn/info/1005/1090.htm），确保个人家庭地址详细（英文版），电话号码准确无误，然后将1-8项材料电子版打包发送到邮箱Linda@cxtc.edu.cn；

2、保持电话畅通，及时查看和回复邮件；

3、来华时请携带申请材料原件。

八、申请时间：2023年2月1日至6月1日

九、录取及入学考试（考核）

1、录取。学校将对申请材料进行初审，初审后的申请材料报上级部门批准后方择优录取，留学生可通过邮件或电话查询录取结果。确定录取名单后，学校将通过国际快递为获得录取的学生寄发《来华留学生申请表》（JW202表）和《录取通知书》，被录取的学生凭以上材料自行办理签证及后续手续。

2、考试及考核。被录取的奖学金获得者到校后，需参加学校统一组织的入学考试（考核），考试（考核）成绩计入学生档案。考试（考核）方式及时间由学校自行安排。

Introduction and Admission of Chuxiong Normal University

Chuxiong Normal University is a full-time general undergraduate university in Yunnan Province, which was established in May 2001 with the approval of the Ministry of Education. In 2009, the university was awarded the title of "National Civilization Unit", and in 2015, it was approved as a pilot university in Yunnan Province for the application-oriented overall transformation reform of local universities. In 2017, it was awarded the title of "National Civilized Campus" by the Central Civilization Committee. So far, it has trained more than 70,000 graduates for the society and won the honorary title of "Advanced Collective for Employment of College Graduates" in Yunnan Province for 14 consecutive years.

The university recruits full-time undergraduate students from 25 provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government), with 15,407 students, 10 secondary colleges, 58 full-time undergraduate majors, 1 national specialty, 1 national first-class specialty construction site, 9 provincial first-class specialty construction sites, 5 provincial advantageous specialty majors, 1 Yunnan provincial university first-class discipline (Class B plateau discipline). The university also has 1 key discipline with advantages and characteristics in Yunnan Province, and 4 disciplines under provincial-level cultivation for the construction of master's degree authorization points. The university has 785 teaching staff. including 626 full-time teachers, 79 professors, 185 associate professors, 64 doctors and 445 masters.Since 2001, the university has won 61 national research fund projects, 316 projects of 30 categories of "undergraduate teaching project", 446 national awards and 1088 provincial awards for various disciplinary competitions.

In terms of international cooperation, the university has carried out exchanges and cooperation with universities in Canada, the United States, Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, Myanmar, Laos and other countries, opening up the horizons of schooling through staff exchange visits, student exchanges, scientific research cooperation and cooperative schooling, and continuously promoting the process of internationalization of schooling.

V.Application Requirements

l Applicants must be Non-Chinese citizens with non-criminal Certificate. Applicant who immigrated to a foreign country must have held a valid foreign passport or proof of nationality document for at least 4 years and have a record of actual residence abroad for at least 2 years within the last 4 years (until April 30, 2022) (actual residence abroad for 9 months in a year can be counted as one year, based on entry and exit stamps).

l Applicants should obey the Chinese laws, comply with Chuxiong Normal University's regulations, and respect Chinese customs and public ethical norms.

l Applicants’ health condition should conforms with the "Health Examination Standards for Foreign Students" issued by the Ministry of Education of China.

l Bachelor degree program applicants must be a high School’s degree holder under the age of 25; Chinese Language program applicants must be a bachelor’s degree holder under the age of 55.

l Applicants shall bear the consequences caused by unclear or unidentifiable uploaded materials. Notarized translation must be provided if any of the documents listed is not in Chinese or in English.

IX.Admission, Examination and Registration

l After assessment by university, applicants who meet the requirements will be admitted on a merit basis.

l YNU will send the admission documents to admitted students before August 5,2022, and those be admitted need to apply their visa Via Chinese Embassy in their own country.

l All candidates are required to participate the entrance examination held by university before registration.

l Admitted students are not allowed to alter either the major or the duration of study.

l Admitted students need to provide all the original application documents upon registration. Failure to provide authentic originals may result in disqualification of admission.

l Admitted students who are not able to complete registration on time due to any reason need to ask for permission in written form. If admitted students do not register for over two weeks without permission, the admission qualification will be withdrawn.
